Course – Maths Level – Entry KS3 (11-13 year olds) Day & Time – Thursdays 10.30 am Overview – 1 weekly 45 minute live lesson (Google Classroom) – 1 weekly home study task with detailed feedback ————————————— Topics – Graphs: An introduction to graphs, what they look like and why. – Ratio, Proportion and rates of change: Developing the key skills required to work on ratio and proportion problems. – Geometry and Measures: This course aims to broaden students' understanding of some of the key skills required to succeed in geometry and measures. – Probability and Statistics: What are the chances of an events happening? How can we analyse data? This course offers an introduction to key probability and statistical skills. – Number: Making sure those all important number skills are up to scratch, including learning how to use and apply these skills in a problem solving context. – Algebra: Study of the essential algebra skills within a problem solving context.
